The Spider-Man: No Way Home hype is still at an all-time high, but we've got a new reason to get excited about Zendaya all over again. After a long wait, the trailer for Euphoria's second season has finally arrived! So let's dive in.
The trailer was released on December 20th and immediately garnered a huge reaction from the internet. For loyal fans of the show, you may remember that details on the anticipated follow-up to season one were pretty non-existent. It was only in late November that the show dropped a teaser that got us plenty excited about what was to come. And now that we have the official trailer? Let's just say you'll be able to find us glued to the couch as soon as the episodes drop.
"I know it's been a long time, but we'll see you January 9th," Zendaya wrote in her caption along with the trailer. But who is the we she was referring to, exactly? Well, fans can look forward to a return of some familiar faces including Sydney Sweeney, Barbie Ferreira, Jacob Elordi, and Hunter Schafer. Plus, we got a peak at some fresh new faces including Dominic Fike, Demetrius Lil Meech Flenory Jr., and Minka Kelly, as well.
But what's to come in season two? Well, the chaotic nearly three-minute trailer didn't give too much away, but we do know that Rue has relapsed and is attending AA meetings accompanied by a rolling suitcase in hand. We're led to believe that Zendaya's character has started dealing as her family and friends continue to worry about her safety and well-being. Throw in some high school romance and teenage angst and we've got a blueprint for a pretty fantastic season two, right? And expectations will most definitely be high following Zendaya's 2020 Emmy win for her part in the HBO show that has captured the world's attention.
But for now, all that's left to do is count down until January 9th. And of course, check back soon for more exciting announcements coming your way.
