With the success of Netflix's hit period drama, Bridgerton, viewers everywhere eagerly await what will happen in Season 3. Fans are particularly dying to know whether or not a cast favorite, Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton, will be returning for the upcoming season. Well, let's take a closer look and find out.
Since its release in 2020, Bridgerton has taken over everyone's little screens. Is it the glamourous outfits, the catchy music, and the relationships between characters, or is it just Regé-Jean Page? Whatever your answer is, we understand. However, an integral part of both seasons has been Phoebe Dynevor, and now that season three is around the corner, mega fans are curious whether or not she'll be making an appearance. The actress sat down with Screen Rant in an interview to answer everyone's burning question. And well...
When asked if her character has any "exciting dynamics" in the upcoming season, she responded, "sadly, not in season three. Potentially in the future. But season three, I'm just excited to watch as a viewer." Well, that's just sad for all of us. Jess Brownell, Bridgerton's showrunner, was asked about her future in the show to which he told Variety, "we want to keep seeing all of our Bridgerton siblings." He continued, "We feel like those moments when the whole family is together is what really makes the show and makes all of us, I think, want to be a Bridgerton. So yes, you will definitely be seeing Daphne, Anthony and Kate — how much, I don't want to say quite yet, but you have to tune in." Okay, so there is some hope for the future!
