Don't worry, darling. These rumors aren't true! Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have denied some truly wild allegations made by their former nanny. In a recent exclusive interview, their ex-nanny reportedly spilled all about the couple's split. And now, the former couple is here to set the story straight.
The Booksmart director and Ted Lasso star dealt with some strange rumors. From #spitgate to dating ex-boyband members and a custody battle, it seems they still have to explain themselves as a couple. Now, to shake things up, even more, they are clapping back at statements made by a former inside source. Their ex-nanny of 3 years looked after Wilde and Sudeikis's children, 8-year-old son Otis and a 5-year-old daughter Daisy. After a 7-year engagement, things came to an end in 2020. Now, Wilde has gone in one direction and Sudeikis in another. Although their 2020 split was common knowledge, their former employee revealed private information involving secret scandals and on-set affairs. Yet, Wilde and Sudeikis claim otherwise...
Claims were made that Sudeikis found messages from Styles on Wilde's Apple watch when she was on set for production and left it at home. Further allegations involved Sudeikis chasing his ex after she prepared a salad for him and even placing himself under the hood of her car so she wouldn't drive away from their family. Allegedly, "Jason was crying a lot, crying and crying. I didn't know what had happened at all... She left us, she left us!" According to a Vanity Fair interview, Wilde set the record straight, "The complete horses*** idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry... Like any relationship that ends, it doesn't end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road, and we officially dissolved the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic... Once it became clear that cohabitating was no longer beneficial for the children, it became the responsible thing to not, because we could be better parents as friends who live in different houses." The betrayal and supposed lies got Wilde the most, "As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly. Her now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends, and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex."
As an ex-couple, they shared the same response, "We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone." Although Wilde might be sharing her special salad dressing with her new boyfriend, we're happy to hear the exes are still focused on putting their family first.
