Keke Palmer is about to be a momma! The Nope actress revealed she is expecting her first baby while delivering her opening monologue as she hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend, and it was the perfect announcement! Here's a closer look.
During her SNL hosting debut, Palmer finally addressed the speculation surrounding all these pregnancy rumors that have been floating around the past few months. "There's some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,' and I wanna set the record straight — I am!" Palmer shared as she excitingly ripped open her long jacket to reveal her growing baby bump! Obviously, the audience went wild at the sight, clapping and cheering on Palmer, congratulating her on the exciting news.
"I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y'all, but it's even worse when they're correct. I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?" she shared during her monologue. "But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I'm going to be a mom." The Alice actress added, "Even though some people feel a little weird about me having a baby cause I was a child actor, I just wanna say, look, I'm 29, I'm grown, I have sex, I own a home, I stormed the Capitol on January 6, you know? Things adults do."

Over the years, Keke Palmer has been known to keep her personal relationships on the DL, but just over a year ago, the actress went Instagram official with her soon-to-be baby daddy, Darius Jackson. According to Palmer, he's "very industry-adjacent," which fits her criteria for dating somebody outside of her career. In the beginning, she kept their relationship private but admitted it "became more difficult to hide," and at a certain point realized she was not going to "hide something that makes me happy." We love seeing her happy, and we can't wait to see her be a momma! Stay tuned.
