Let's face it, the life of the average supermodel is pretty fabulous. From designer threads to impressive paychecks, it-girls like Bella Hadid have the life that many can only dream of. And while all the fame and fortune may go to some celebrities' heads, it certainly hasn't gone to Bella's. She spent her holiday season giving back to the less fortunate and encouraging us to do the same.
Between world-class photoshoots and extravagant getaways, Bella squeezed in a whole lot of charity work during the month of December. She kicked off the season of giving by posting about her meaningful experience when helping out with the New York City Food Bank. "@foodbank4nyc has been a long time friend and an org that I highly respect and will always support," Bella shared in her lengthy caption. And she included a special shout-out to one volunteer in particular who went the extra mile.
"A powerhouse and angel sent from heaven," Bella gushed about Chef Sherri, one of the selfless cooks helping to feed the hungry. Bella then took the time to invite her 47.9 million Insta pals to support the food bank's mission in providing 1,000,000 meals to the five boroughs of NYC, as part of their annual goal of 20 million meals by the end of 2021. But the food bank wasn't the only place that got some Bella love, she also directed her efforts to another important NYC charity just in time for Christmas.
"We were able to donate over 250 gifts throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn to kids and families deserving of a good Holiday memory," Hadid gushed about her time volunteering with System of Service and Grand St. Settlement. The Vogue cover girl included a photo dump of her toy haul, which raked in tons of love from her fans. "Sweet heart in action," one user wrote of Bella's selfless actions, with another fan adding, "wish all celebrities were like this!" Safe to say that Hadid's actions inspired thousands and brought smiles to the faces of many young New Yorkers!
And just because the holidays might be coming to an end, that doesn't mean the opportunity to give has passed - you can find more information about the organizations Bella helped out with in her caption.
