Aca-scuse me? So there was almost a music-prodigy baby? Well, the tea is that Anna Kendrick recently opened up about how she created embryos with her ex-boyfriend before the relationship suddenly ended. Here's what went down...

After a 6-year relationship, Anna Kendrick finally dropped the mic. When the Pitch-Perfect star recently starred in an episode of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman's podcast, Armchair Expert, she shared an intimate moment with the hosts. Her ex-boyfriend, who she now describes as "a stranger," was someone she lived with, "for all intents and purposes my husband," she says. She continued to explain, "We had embryos together, this was my person. And then, about 6 years in, about somewhere around there, I remember telling my brother, when things had first kind of gone down, 'I'm living with a stranger. Like, I don't know what's happening." After a drastic change in her partner's behavior, Kendrick knew she had to make a quick-thinking decision, confronting who she thought was her soul mate. He then dropped the bomb on her, and things changed in a blink of an eye.

Kendrick's partner had revealed, after 6 years together, he had developed feelings for someone else. We can't imagine how hard the punch in her stomach must have felt. Of course, she wanted to make it work, applying for couple's therapy, but she came to the realization she was losing the relationship. She admitted to "putting her own life on pause for this turbulent relationship to try to fix it." Things escalated, and Kendrick admitted to putting her mental health first, talking to her CAA agent and announcing she was taking time off work. She asked her therapist, "tell me how to stop being crazy. Tell me how to stop feeling anything." Thankfully, she trusted the process, and things "ended up being very wonderful." Though this isn't the first time a celebrity has opened up about mental health and personal issues, this definitely took us by surprise. Nevertheless, we are tremendously proud of the acapella singer for analyzing the situation thoroughly and putting an end to things when she did.

In September 2022, Kendrick opened up to People magazine in an interview where she resonated with a past character, Alice, from the film Alice, Darling, who had just come out of a "personal experience with emotional and psychological abuse." On a positive note, this helped her "normalize and minimize" what was happening to her. And we can't wait to see what comes next. Until then, stay tuned for more updates.
