Alexa Nikolas Speaks Her Truth Amidst Jamie Lynn Feud
| LAST UPDATE 01/18/2022
For those of us who enjoyed watching Zoey 101 after school as kids, this may come as a shock: there was some serious drama on-set that is resurfacing in 2022 thanks to Jamie Lynn Spears' new memoir, Things I Should Have Said. But if you ask her old co-star Alexa Nikolas, there were some things Jamie shouldn't have said in the book. Here's what Nikolas had to say about the new release and how her old castmate has been "lying up a storm."
It seems as though Alexa got her hands on some quotes from Things I Should Have Said that addressed the tensions on the Zoey 101 set back in the 2000s. According to Jamie Lynn, she felt ostracized and excluded on the set due to rumors that Alexa reportedly started, calling her "mean and b*tchy" and claiming she didn't smell nice. But from Alexa's perspective, things didn't go down that way at all. And the now 29-year-old actress wasn't afraid to speak up when it came to the inconsistencies she claims she read in Jamie Lynn's book.
"I was pretty surprised to see her lying up a storm in there," Alexa shared to her nearly 250 thousand followers. The actress went on to describe the series of events leading up to the book's publishing, which included Jamie Lynn reaching out with an apology and offer of a gift - something Nikolas found to be "super bizarre." But fast forward to the book release, and the actress realized she wanted "absolutely nothing to do with it," especially considering the drama going down between Jamie Lynn and Britney. "Typical move for a bully to play the victim card/gaslight others while straight-up lying," Alexa continued to vent. "I wish I could go back in time and tell my 12-year-old self that you are extremely lucky to not have a friend like her."
"I don't mind saying all the things I should say for free," Alexa closed off her Instagram post. It's safe to say that Nikolas won't be going to a Jamie Lynn book signing anytime soon... Nonetheless, we hope these two can sort these out one day. Until then, stay tuned for updates.
