Twitter Can't Stop Buzzing Over Zendaya's Wax Figure
| LAST UPDATE 02/14/2022
Madame Tussauds is known for its iconic replications of Hollywood celebrities - so what happened when they added one of the most talked-about stars to their collection? Fans are seriously questioning Zendaya's newly presented wax figure in the London museum. While the Euphoria goddess is known for her on and off-the carpet lewkkkks, fans are pretty confused as to why her wax figure's outfit looked the way that it did. Twitter has done its thing yet again and has left the internet divided, debating whether Z's wax figure was a total hit or utter miss...
This celebrity's wax figure showcases Zendaya in her pink monochrome suit from the Humane Society Gala in May 2016. We have oh so many questions, and Twitter has oh so many answers. The official Madame Tussauds Twitter has been gaining a lot of traction with their recent reveal, with Twitter users asking, "Why does Zendaya's wax figure look like a flight attendant?" Another joked, "The wax version of Zendaya looks like she wants to speak to the manager. One Twitter user even responded, "You accidentally Kylie Jenner-ed." Whoops. However, as all stories do, there are two sides to this argument. The other half claim the wax figure "looks almost exactly like Zendaya." We guess it's all up to interpretation. Right?
But this is not the first time the Madame Tussauds wax figures have caused a riot among its fans - unfortunately, there have been quite a few mishaps in the wax figure world. Nicki Minaj's 2015 Anaconda music video inspired wax figure left fans confused with the replica, but Minaj herself reposted the official reveal announcement on her Instagram with the caption, "they had the dancers ready and everything. so iconic. Thank u."
So Internet, it is up to you yet again to make the final call: yay or absolute nay? The Spider-Man: No Way Home star has not yet commented on her newest look-alike, but we wonder what her thoughts are. In the meantime, Law Roach, Zendaya's celebrity stylist, might be calling the offices of Madame Tussauds for a refund on his visit. But as far as we're concerned? We can't help but feel proud of Z's latest accomplishment! Until next time, stay tuned.
