Gone Fishing? Heidi Klum has officially outdone herself. The reigning queen of Halloween has come dressed to her annual Halloween party as... a worm. Yes, really.

No surprise, after she debuted the outfit on the blue carpet before the event, everyone went crazy. She was completely unrecognizable as she wriggled about alongside her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, who was dressed as a fisherman with a bloody eye. They posed together, with Klum lying down and pretending to be fishing bait for her fisherman. Now, this is taking the couple’s costume to the ultimate extreme! The model said it took her two years of brainstorming to come up with the worm idea, and when she finally did and called up her longtime Halloween collaborator, Mike Marino, he said, “Huh?!” Our reactions would have been the same! LOL. Heidi told Vogue, “When I fall in love with an idea, I do not want to pivot.” So, the team got to work on how to make Heidi a worm.

Over the years, Klum has made a name for herself for her insane and out-of-this-world costumes. She formerly transformed herself into Fiona from the animated movie series Shrek, the iconic Jessica Rabbit, and a werewolf from Michael Jackson’s hit Thriller music video. It has been two years since Klum was last able to throw her Halloween bash due to Covid-19. The party occurred in New York City at a new Japanese restaurant, Sake No Hana, and Questlove did a set. The party included a star-studded guest list, including the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski, and Klum’s daughter, Leni. Immediately once photos of Heidi hit the internet, it went completely insane with memes and reactions to the model’s outfit. One user posted a tweet that said, “Would you love me if I was a worm?” Other users keep calling her the queen of Halloween. Keep the memes coming!

Klum explained, “I like to do something unexpected, so I tried to think of a costume that is super absurd, but also very familiar. Because it is Halloween, you need the creepy factor, also a bit gross and disgusting.” She certainly delivered on all of that. We are already counting the days until next year’s Halloween! Until then, stay tuned.
