Friends may not have been on the air since 2004, but its quotes and cultural references remain as relevant as ever. So much so that most of the sitcom's die-hard fans are still able to easily repeat some of the most iconic scenes - word for word, perfect. But how about the stars themselves? Are the actors that brought these lovable characters to life as familiar with the script as we are? Just a few days ago, this was put to the ultimate test when Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, who played Rachel and Jill Green, attempted to recreate one of their favorite scenes. As it turns out, their efforts were as entertaining as the original scene itself!

The actresses, currently in production for the third season of The Morning Show, took some time out of filming to bless Instagram with this hilarious skit. "Oh, that's sweet," Reese said, starting off the scene. Just one line in, Jennifer cut in to inform the audience that the following line is one of Reese's favorites. "Is this where you say the line you love so much?" she interrupted. "This is…" Reese confirmed before suggesting they say their lines. "Do you remember your line?" she teased Aniston. Behold the moment of truth...

To the disappointment of the overexcited fans, it seems that Jennifer has long forgotten her days as Rachel Green, as she stared ahead unknowingly. Her loyal co-star to the rescue, Reese, swept in, whispering her line to her behind the script. On cue, she repeated to the camera, "you can't have Ross." With that, the Legally Blonde actress got straight back into 'spoiled little-sister' mode, delivering her iconic line in full character. "Can't have, can't have….the only thing I can't have is dairy," she shouted back confidently. LOL.

The video posted to Reese's Instagram account with the caption, "this line gets me every time," has already accumulated over 500,000 views with comments from hundreds of appreciative fans. Aniston herself commented on the post, writing, "My pain in the a** little burst of sunshine sister and I are working together again. But this time, we'll be much kinder to one another. (Hmm, then again, we'll just have to wait and see about that…)." Catch the hilarious duo in action on The Morning Show on AppleTV now!
