It has been 16 years since Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, and Ryan sang and danced together. Yet, it could have been yesterday for Ashley Tisdale! The actress, who played Sharpay in the Disney Channel movie series High School Musical, recently shared a hilarious video on TikTok poking fun at the fact that she has barely aged.
Since finishing her time as musically obsessed Sharpay Evans, Tisdale has had a remarkable career. She voiced Candance Flynn in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas & Ferb. She’s released studio albums, formed a production company called Blondie Girl Productions, and is a panelist on the reality competition show The Masked Dancer. Additionally, she founded a wellness brand called Frenshe and is a proud mom to baby girl Jupiter. But Tisdale obviously did not get the memo about sticking to the status quo when it came to aging. She still looks like she could be walking the halls of East High School trying to land the lead role in the spring musical. The TikTok features Tisdale hilariously lip-synching to the famous scene in Twilight.
In the scene, Bella Swan, played by Kristen Bell in the movie series, asks Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson, how old he is. He responds with, “17.” Then, Bella asks him, “How long have you been 17?” This moment is when Tisdale zooms the camera in on her face. Cullen answers, “A while.” Tisdale zooms the camera out once more and then gives a slight smirk to her audience. Tisdale is sporting a cozy gray cardigan and minimal makeup in the video. Fans in the comments are begging for her skincare routine and agree that the High School Musical star simply does not age. She captioned the video, “When you just don’t age.” In addition to her amazing lip-syncs, the actress loves to poke fun at herself, like her outfits from the 2000s.
