If you're suffering from house mold, Australian TikTok cleaning guru Chantel Mila (AKA Mama Mila) is here to share her quick secret solution! Not only that, she's got some other smart, and easy home-cleaning hacks up her sleeve for us to incorporate into our cleaning routines. From sink polishing to air fresheners, these top tips will leave your home shiny and fresh - ready for any occasion.
In a now-viral video, Mila shared with the world her homemade all-natural fix for killing house mold. Combining a cup of vinegar, twenty drops of clove oil, and twenty drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle, she then sprayed the resulting liquid onto the mold-prone spots. Mila recommends leaving it there for ten minutes before rinsing it off, so it has a chance to do "the hard work." Not only will this remove the mold, she says, but it will also prevent it from returning. Her 510,000 viewers were amazed and wanted more.
In a previous video, released before the mold-killing phenomenon, Mila shared her hacks to have your house smell fresh in minutes. According to the guru, if you want your home to smell like your favorite café, all you will need is a candle, a heatproof bowl, and coffee beans. With that, you'll place the beans in the bowl with a tea light. The candle will heat the beans and leave your house smelling of coffee. If your house aroma is being let down by an unpleasant sink smell, she recommends cleaning your sink with baking soda and lemon to remove the odors and leave the sink polished.

Last but certainly not least, Mila shares a tip for those with a little more time on their hands. This one, she explains, will take thirty minutes to have its full effect, but it will completely transform the smell of your house. Place ten drops of essential oil into 1/2 cup of baking soda. Sprinkle it on the carpets, leave for an hour and then vacuum the area to remove carpet odors. As long as your vacuum can be used with fine particles, you're good to go.
