Mila Kunis Empowers Her Daughter to Fight Back
| LAST UPDATE 10/22/2021
It feels like Mila Kunis is in the headlines every week. But thankfully, this time it's not about her controversial approach to bathing her kids. Instead, the mom of two got candid about how she and Ashton Kutcher don't always agree on how to raise their daughter - but she wouldn't back down.
Kunis shared all the details on Ellen Degeneres's new internet segment, Mom Confessions. And when asked about her greatest "parenting fails," the former That '70s Show didn't hold back in sharing about what goes down behind the closed doors of the Kutcher-Kunis residence. In the viral clip, Mila shared a story from when their eldest daughter, Wyatt, was having troubles with another toddler in preschool. "Well, here's a story that's about to get me in trouble," the honest mom started.
"There was a little kid in my kid's preschool that wasn't very kind and pushed my daughter," the Breaking News in Yuba County star explained. "My daughter came back and was like, 'Such and such little kiddo pushed me.'" Shocked as any mother would be, Mila followed up with a controversial question. "I instinctually said, 'Did you push her back?' And my daughter's like, 'No!'" And here's where Mila took a turn to the world of parenting fails (according to some, of course). The feisty momma bear looked back at her young child and urged her to "push her back next time."
"You push her back, and you say, No, thank you,' and you walk away,'" Mila recalled during the web segment. And while Kunis thought she shared a nugget of wisdom with her daughter, her husband didn't exactly agree. "I turned around, and I see Ashton's face, and he was like, 'No!'" the Hollywood celeb said while imitating her hubby's reaction. But even if the father of her children didn't agree, Mila refused to back down. "You stand up for yourself, and you say, 'No thank you,'" she repeated to her daughter. "Don't push her off of a ladder... but on the ground, even Steven, you push her back."
We're with you, Mila! And we certainly wouldn't want to mess with your little girl!
