It was just a few weeks ago that Charli D'Amelio made things official with her new boyfriend, Landon Barker. Although many of the influencer's fans were happy about the news, some people were not. Including? Of course, Charli's ex-boyfriend, Chase Hudson (also known as Lil Huddy). Just this week, he teased his new song that has been assumed to be about Charli… and he had lots to say. Here's all the tea.
Back in June, Charli and Landon were caught by the paparazzi leaving a Machine Gun Kelly concert together, and only one day after the photos went viral, Huddy shared a photo on Instagram that led fans to believe he was in shock. "Damn, that's so crazy, so... party at mine tn?" he wrote in the caption. It was speculated that he didn't approve of the new couple since the two boys used to be good friends, with Huddy even being invited to Landon's dad, Travis Barker's, wedding to Kourtney Kardashian back in May.
The feud and tensions within the love triangle are seemingly what prompted Huddy's new song. It was accompanied by an Instagram photo promoting the track, "All the Things I Hate About You 7/29," he captioned the snap, giving away the song's title and release date. Immediately the internet went wild, saying the song was going to be about Charli since she is now dating Huddy's former BFF. Things got heated when Landon posted his own cryptic message."If you can't treat her right, I'll treat her right for you. 7/23," he wrote. And D'Amelio followed by writing, "Baby Shark doo-doo…7/23."

But things really took a turn for the worst when Huddy finally shared a snippet of the unreleased song on TikTok. The lyrics went, "You're a showstopper, a bad liar, homie hopper, drama starter." Yikes. The term "homie-hopper" is defined as a girl or guy that hops (hooks up with) multiple people from the same friend group, according to Urban Dictionary. Instantly, fans believe he was shading Charli, given her relationship status with Landon. All the drama has led Huddy to unfollow the new couple, as well as Travis Barker - even though the two musicians were working together. In March 2021, Huddy wrote, "Me and Travis have been in the studio working on it quite a bit. We have an album coming in the summer, which is going to be very exciting." The details about this album are still unclear amidst the feud. Stay tuned for updates.
