As hard as it is to believe, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's eldest daughter, Apple Martin, is already 17-years-old. And she's got one seriously cool mom who has shared her approach to talking about sex with her kids.
In a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight, the mother of two shared her mantra when it came to discussing the nitty-gritty with her kids. The founder of the modern lifestyle brand has been all about honest and judgment-free approaches to health and wellness since starting the brand back in 2008. And according to her recent interview, she wasn't just talking the talk, she was walking the walk as well. And so when her kids started coming to her with questions about sexuality, she kept it as real as ever with her answers.

"Stay really close to your own truth," the Avengers: Endgame star shared. "I think the main thing that nobody ever tells you is you have to stay really close to your own truth, and you have to stay really in integrity with that truth." As the wise mom saw it, there was no point in being in a couple until you really understood and were proud of your true self. "Because when you are in a relationship and you are not being your full self, you are sublimating things, or you are white-knuckling through something, and I think it can be pretty damaging to how you feel about yourself," Paltrow continued to explain.
And most importantly, Gwyneth wanted to right the wrongs that she experienced growing up. "I think my generation, we got a lot of messages around sex that made us feel bad about it. I try to just be curious," she shared during her interview. "And teenagers are never going to want to talk to their parents about sex ever, so I sort of follow their lead, and luckily in middle school they had a very thorough sex education, so the school handled the kind of birds-and-the-bees parts, and then I am there for any questions," the face of goop shared.
