Danielle Bernstein's journey from aspiring street blogger to successful fashion mogul has been one for the books - literally. But we're not here to talk about her bestselling tell-all. From her famous clothing line to the controversy it called for, the WeWoreWhat influencer recently opened up about it all - the highs, the lows, and every fashion fail in between. Here's what she had to say for herself...

The 29-year-old beauty sat down with People to reflect on her time on our screens. Safe to say, a lot has happened since kicking off her Instagram blog at just 18. Unfortunately, Bernstein's road to success has also been met with several road bumps - something she herself will tell ya: "Of course there are things I've done over the years that I wish I did a little bit differently," she confessed.

From legal troubles (after accusations of stealing other designers' work) to the lengthy criticism she received as a result, the WeWoreWhat blogger has been put under the microscope. But she's actually grown a lot in the process. "It would be crazy to say that every mistake didn't really help me as a person and a business owner," Danielle reflected.

One "mistake" she looks back on with regret? Photoshopping. "I'm sorry that there was a time where I was not even remotely close to comfortable in my own skin and was sharing highly Photoshopped images of myself," the blogger revealed. "I regret that I didn't share my imperfections earlier, because obviously we all have them."

Safe to say, the confident queen will be doing things differently from now on. And she couldn't be happier. "I've learned to become a lot prouder of my imperfections... to be a lot more open with my followers," Bernstein explained. And if somebody still has something negative to say? "I've learned to just focus on [the positive], and almost laugh at it, to a certain extent, which I was not able to do. And that has come with a lot of self-work."
