Travel influencer Christine Tran Ferguson recently shared some very sad news. Her little boy Asher, who was only 15 months old, has passed away. Christine didn't mention how Asher died, but she did share a long message on Instagram about how much it hurts to lose her only child.
Christine said, "Today you would be 15 months old, my sweet angel. Your mom and dad love you so much. You brought us so much happiness and made our family whole. I didn't know I could feel so much love and joy until you came into our lives. You were the happiest and smartest little boy I've ever known." She also talked about her heartbreak, saying, "My heart is completely broken into a million pieces. I can't understand why this happened. Everything feels so wrong and I'm still in shock. I wish I could wake up from this terrible dream and hold you in my arms again."
Christine also mentioned how much Asher was loved by all their family and friends. She wrote, "Your room is empty, your things are just as you left them. Nothing can compare to the pain of losing a child. I can't believe this happened to us." She expressed her longing for Asher, saying, "I wish so badly that you could come back, but you're not coming home and it's breaking my heart. We feel so lost without you and miss you so much. I prayed for a miracle, for YOU to be the miracle, for you to come back to us. My heart aches for you every second. You will never be forgotten. We will take you everywhere we go. We love you so much, my sweet boy, I hope I get to see you soon." Thanking everyone who has reached out to them, Christine asked for privacy during this difficult time. She said they are still in shock and don't have any answers to this terrible nightmare.

Earlier this month, Christine had asked for prayers as Asher was "fighting for his life in the ICU." She pleaded, "Please God, give us a miracle and save my sweet Asher. We need you, we miss your laugh, your smile, we need you here with mama & dada."
