For the past few years, one British influencer has been inspiring the masses and encouraging women to embrace their bodies. From viral campaigns and interviews to best-selling books, she's become a force of nature that is doing some major good in the world - and we can't get enough of her! Here's why...

Meet Chidera Eggerue, also known online as The Slumflower. Since breaking onto the social media scene, she's unapologetic about her body, inspiring thousands of others to jump on board her campaign: #SaggyBoobsMatter. As Chidera put it in a 2018 interview with Glamour Magazine, "I decide how I'm going to be me on my terms without anyone's permission." And she's done just that! Despite the social conditioning that so many young girls face that stifles leadership and big personalities, Eggerue has spoken out and unlearned what the world tried to teach her. "Owning my bold was something that I'm really glad I chose to do," she confessed. "The world teaches women that we are objects to be consumed, rather than bodies to be lived in. That's very, very evident in the way that women are presented in advertisements."

And while it took a while to get to a place where she's unapologetically Slumflower, her journey to self-love has inspired a whole generation of millennial and Gen-Z women who are fed up with being compared to unrealistic standards of beauty. "I found that so many women who had a very similar frame to me were very unhappy with their bodies," Chidera explained. "I don't have to prove my beauty to anyone." Retweet! From her social media campaigns, Chidera went on to write not one but two worldwide hits, including, What a Time to Be Alone and How to Get Over a Boy. From body positivity to struggles with alopecia and social pressures, there's practically a Slumflower post for any issue facing young women!
