Just when we thought we'd seen the best of Charli D'Amelio's talents on Dancing With The Stars, she's gone and shown us she can sing too! Although her big sister Dixie may have previously held the monopoly over the family's singing credits, Charli is now attempting to make her own mark in the music industry. Releasing her new single, 'If You Ask Me To,' on October 26, the TikToker instantly wowed fans with her hidden singing skills...

Understanding the fanfare her debut single would attract, Charli made the wise business decision to premiere the track on the season 2 finale of her family's reality show, The D'Amelio Show. As the show followed her journey with music exploration, it seemed like the perfect conclusion to the chapter. Immediately after, she took to Twitter to announce its worldwide streaming release. "I'm so excited and happy I get to share this with you all finally, it was so fun to make, and I really hope you like it," she wrote. The next morning (October 26), she uploaded the music video to her YouTube channel, attracting 1.9 million views in just 3 days!

"I've always loved music and performing," she explained in a statement. "Once my online following started growing, I was able to showcase my passion for dance, but I felt that with so many other people entering the music space, there wasn't room for me. However, with my dad's encouragement, I got into the studio at the beginning of this year just to pursue singing as a hobby. With each writing and recording session, my love for the process grew, and I became incredibly proud of the music we were making."

Working with her famous contacts, Charli recruited some of the best names in the industry to collaborate on the track. Greg Keller worked as the song's producer and wrote alongside Austin Saxton, Emi Seacrest, Michael Schiavo, and Charli. The video, directed by Andrew Sandler, depicts "the journey of teenage heartbreak, the difficulties of watching someone move on and having to deal with all of the internal negative comparisons that come along with seeing someone you once loved with someone new." With this, fans can't help but wonder if Charli is penning her experience with ex Chase Hudson. Go stream it now, and decide for yourself!
